Exp. Since 1990. Mar 13, 2019. #1. The engine is a Fiat 3 litre, 160 multijet, built 2008 (Euro 4). Just had service done and they've filled with 5W-30 fully synthetic engine oil. Fiat handbook recommends 5W-40, semi-synthetic. The 5W-30 fully synthetic oil seems to be specified for Fiat Euro 5 engines. This oil seems very thin.1,300. May 29, 2020. #10. Just a few thoughts on your problem, there is a known problem with the electrical connection for the No. 4 injector on 2.8JTD engines, the wiring being too short & causing a bad connection.
