A lot of Luddite in my balance of value, results and wanting all the expensive new toys when they offer them. I am 90+% sure a 1290 will be my next bike and the 1290 S or GT are the most suited for my use, but the Super Duke R and 1090-1290R with traditional suspension appeals to me for the above pro-con issues.

1429 posts · Joined 2017. #12 · Jul 28, 2020. I have had the General Warning alert when an oil temp sensor failed and was telling the ECU that oil temp was over 150C when it was in normal range. The message under the General Warning is the point where the (supposed) fault is: Oil temp, damping failure etc.
