The Sims 4, one of the most popular social simulation games ever made, is getting a free-to-play model starting in October 2022. Although this game is already eight years old as of 2022, it still has a massive fan base. In fact, EA raked in over $1 billion in revenue from The Sims 4 in 2019 and garnered over 36 million players by 2021.
I usually play on normal. However, I feel like sims 4 is slower paced than sims 3 so it’s either my sims are rich with no friends or they are poor with friends. I dislike playing on long because I feel like it’s too long for me. I like to use mcc to customize the lifespan. I like sims 3 long lifespan values. The biggest thing I don’t like about sims 4 cas that I miss from sims 3 is that in 4 you have to use the presets to get certain qualities in some features. Like if you choose a mouth with a big dip in the upper lip and then mess with it for like 3 years and then decide you want slightly less of a dip, you have to completely restart with a new I was dreaming of a game with the graphics and lore-heavy gameplay of Sims 2 tempered by the open world, creative sandbox freedom of The Sims 3. But while The Sims 4 certainly looked better than
The Sims 4 does carry over the open world gameplay… to an extent. The Sims 4 is more open world than The Sims and The Sims 2, where you could only play on one lot at a time, with loading screens between travelling to other lots. However, The Sims 4 is not as open as The Sims 3. In the fourth game, worlds are broken up into 3 or 4 playable
I know this is a sims 3 sub so asking the question which do you prefer I'm guessing the answer would be 3. What makes sims 3 better? I've only played sims 4 a small amount but have spent a lot of time on 3. Im going to buy a new laptop soon and can't decide whether to try get stuck into 4 or just stick with 3.
SimCity. SimCity is the most dated in this list, the first game releasing a long time ago, but you can still play it easily enough on a desktop PC. In this simulator game, you play the mayor, and Oddly enough though, there is more of a difference with sims 3, but I’m not sure if that counts because I have graphics mods. This is all just my opinion though. Like technically of course it looks better in 4K. It’s just that with the cartoony art style of TS4, the difference between 1080 and 4K aren’t that big imo. Sims 3 is "better", but suffers from not running well with all of the packs installed (32bit, not enough memory, etc). Sims 4 always felt like Sims 2 "HD" if that makes any sense. Sims 3 is truly open world, where you can have multiple household members in different areas doing different things at the same time. baJ4F4.
