By default the doors lock at 9mph and the drivers door only unlocks when you put the car in park. I adjust mine to unlock both doors on my Coupe when you put the car into park. So if your dropping off a friend or have a passenger in the car the doors unlock. The instructions are fairly decent, although it took me a few tries.
Ok, I finally got the procedure to work! What ended up working was to do the following (relatively quickly, within about 30 seconds): 1. [Car is off] Press the unlock button three times. 2. [Car is off] Press the start button (without pressing the clutch pedal) [Car turns on without engine starting].
One way to reset the system is to disconnect the battery. This will cause the system to lose power and reset. To do this, locate the negative terminal of your battery and remove the cable. Once the cable is removed, wait for about 5 minutes before reconnecting it. This should give the system enough time to reset.
